This Sketches Gallery is of sketches mostly drawn from life. Some are from the imagination and all are just for fun. None are from jobs. They don’t have posts of their own so each one has a brief description underneath.

One of my favourite things to do is to draw from life and my favourite subject is people. This gives me a great excuse to sit in coffee shops for hours at a time. Pubs are usually more closed-in spaces and are less suitable for sketching. Usually I sketch in pencil or pen on paper but sometimes now I also sketch in Procreate on the iPad. This allows me to add colour immediately. Otherwise when I want to colour a sketch on paper I scan or photograph it and use either Photoshop or Procreate.
