These pictures are all jobs I have done for various advertising agencies. Many began as storyboard roughs but became more detailed and illustrative depending on what the Art Director required as the job progressed.
I trained in traditional media but I find working digitally more flexible for commercial work. All the samples below are done completely in Photoshop with a Wacom Cintiq. These days I also use Procreate on an iPad Pro.

Sons of Hostelry
Visual from an advertisement showing two tough bikers at a bar who look surprised when they are offered fruity cocktails to drink instead of tough manly beers.
Glamping at the bit
Visual for a proposed poster advertising the annual Christmas sale of designer goods at an upscale department store. On the street outside a glamorous girl wearing haute couture claims first place in the queue by glamping out overnight on luxury bedding.
Shop ’til you drop
Visual for a proposed poster advertising the same annual Christmas sale of designer goods at an upscale department store. On the street outside a chalk outline shows the shape of a woman with several shopping bags. The Art Director’s idea for the ad was that she literally shopped ’til she dropped. I’m sure she was okay after a cup of tea.
Bus and Tram
Illustration of double-decker Dublin Bus driving across O’Connell Bridge, Dublin, Ireland. The river Liffey below shows a reflection of a Luas city tram.
